1979 - Where It All Began
Carroll’s was founded in Tullamore, Co. Offaly by Seamus Carroll, using genuine family recipes passed down through generations. With quality and care at the heart of the business from day one, Carroll’s quickly earned a reputation for great taste - becoming one of Ireland’s most trusted brands.
1991 - Supporting Our Community
Giving back has always been important to Carroll’s. In 1991, we began sponsoring the Offaly GAA county teams - a partnership that has continued ever since. We're proud to support Offaly GAA
1994 - An Icon Is Born
Carroll’s entered the ready-meal category in 1994 with the launch of our now-iconic Carroll’s Lasagne. It is produced in partnership with a specialist fresh pasta supplier we continue to work with today, a relationship spanning over 30 years. Made to Carroll’s high standards, it’s a firm favourite in homes across Ireland.
2009 - Sliced Cooked Meats
Spotting an opportunity to bring more choice to shoppers, Carroll’s expanded into the pre-packed cooked meats category with a range of high-quality ham products.
2013 - Carroll's Ready Meals
The launch of Carroll’s Ready Meals marked the start of a new wave of innovation for our brand. Made with fresh pasta and quality ingredients, they bring delicious, dependable convenience to busy households looking for quick, comforting meals.
2015 - Fastest Growing Brand
Carroll’s was named Ireland’s fastest-growing brand in Ireland’s Top 100 Brands (Nielsen, Checkout).
2019 - Sustainability First
We transitioned our base packaging to fully recyclable materials - the first of its kind in Ireland - reflecting our ongoing commitment to sustainability.
2020 - Supporting Those in Need
During an especially challenging year, Carroll’s donated over 40,000 meals through FoodCloud to help communities across Ireland.
2021 - 30 Years with Offaly GAA
Carroll’s proudly celebrated three decades as sponsor of Offaly GAA - one of the longest-standing partnerships in the history of the organisation & still proudly support Offaly GAA today.
2025 - Joining Love Irish Food
Carroll’s becomes a member of Love Irish Food, reinforcing our commitment to supporting Irish jobs, local suppliers and food produced here at home.
2025 - A New Look for a Trusted Favourite
Carroll’s unveils a refreshed brand identity, introducing a new bridge symbol and packaging across the range. While the look has evolved, everything we stand for remains the same - proudly made in Tullamore and trusted by families across Ireland.
