“I started in Carroll’s in June 2013 in the warehouse, I started as a picker on the evening shift before becoming the evening shift supervisor. In January of 2018 the opportunity arose to become the goods-in supervisor, while training for this role I also learned about stock controlling and this allowed me to help out to cover any annual leave. I really enjoyed this part of the job and in June 2018 when the current stock controller moved to another area within the company I took over the role. Since joining Carroll’s I have attended numerous different courses and training days and now I’m in the middle of obtaining a certificate in ‘Operation and Lean Management’. I have worked with some great people and who I have gained experience from. I am truly grateful for all the opportunities to learn, progress and promote within the company.”
After I completed Applied Bioscience in Athlone IT I joined the Carroll’s team in 2019 through the Technical/Quality Assurance Graduate Programme which offers a variety of modules and opportunities to gain experience
The team welcomed me straight away, and made me feel comfortable. Having managers that are friendly and approachable has been a great asset in gaining as much knowledge in the area as possible to develop my career in a manufacturing environment. I am excited to continue my journey with the team here at Carroll’s.
