Chicken & Ham Caesar Salad


Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Add the Carroll’s Slow Cooked Ham and cook for 2–3 minutes until lightly crisped around the edges. Set aside slightly to cool.

Step 2

Divide the chopped lettuce between two serving bowls or plates.

Step 3

Top with the Carroll’s Signature Roast Chicken Pieces and the crisped Carroll’s Slow Cooked Ham.

Step 4

Scatter over the croutons and shaved parmesan.

Step 5

Drizzle generously with the Caesar dressing and finish with freshly cracked black pepper before serving.

Conclusion

If you’d prefer to make your own Caesar dressing, simply mix together 4 tbsp mayonnaise, 1 tbsp Greek yogurt, 1 tsp Dijon mustard, 1 tsp lemon juice, 1 small crushed garlic clove and 2 tbsp grated parmesan until smooth. Add a splash of water if needed to loosen the dressing before serving.
